Softeners

Softeners are designed and supplied for the removal of hardness from water used in various domestic and industrial applications. Systems can be provided in automatic or manual configurations, ensuring improved water quality and protection of equipment.

Reverse Osmosis

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that removes dissolved ions from raw water or wastewater by pressurizing it through a semi-permeable membrane. Purified water passes through the membrane as the product, while concentrated ions are rejected as a reject stream.

With increasing global industrialization, water scarcity is becoming a significant challenge, and the total dissolved solids (TDS) in available water are rising. High-TDS water can create operational issues in industrial, commercial, and domestic applications. Procuring low-TDS water is often costly and logistically challenging. Reverse osmosis systems provide an efficient solution to treat high-TDS water, making it suitable for the intended applications.

DM Plants

De-mineralization (DM) plants are designed and supplied to meet specific end-user requirements, providing high-purity water for industrial applications. DM plants are essential where water with very low dissolved solids is required, such as in boilers, pharmaceutical production, automotive processes and various other applications where high purity water is required.

Types of DM Plants:

  • Resin-Based DM Plants: Utilize cation and anion exchange resins to remove dissolved ions, suitable for high-purity water applications.
  • Electrodeionization (EDI) Plants: Combine ion exchange resins and electrical current to continuously produce ultra-pure water without the need for chemical regeneration.
  • Mixed Bed (MB) plants: These are designed to provide ultra-pure water by combining cation and anion exchange resins in a single vessel. This system polishes demineralized water to achieve the highest quality standards required for critical industrial, pharmaceutical, and laboratory applications.

DM plants can be customized in capacity, configuration, and automation, ensuring reliable, efficient, and cost-effective water treatment for a wide range of applications.

Disinfection Units

Disinfection units are provided to ensure safe and hygienic water by eliminating harmful microorganisms. Available options include:

  • Chemical-Based Disinfection: Uses chlorine or other disinfectants to inactivate bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
  • UV-Based Disinfection: Employs ultraviolet light to destroy microorganisms without adding chemicals.
  • Copper-Silver Ionization: Uses copper and silver ions to control microbial growth in water systems.

Food Grade Minerals for Bottled Water

Extensive expertise in food-grade minerals ensures accurate and reliable fulfillment of customer specifications. Minerals are supplied according to specific requirements, with close consultation to achieve the highest quality and product purity.

These minerals are ideal for bottled water applications, enhancing taste, ensuring compliance with health standards, and maintaining consistent water quality for consumers.

Laboratory Analysis

Wind turbines are manufactured in a wide range of vertical and horizontal axis. The smallest turbines are used for applications such as battery charging for auxiliary power for boats or caravans or to power traffic warning signs. Larger turbines can be used for making contributions to a domestic power supply while selling unused power back to the utility supplier via the electrical grid. Arrays of large turbines, known as wind farms, are becoming an increasingly important source of intermittent renewable energy and are used by many countries as part of a strategy to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.

One assessment claimed that, as of 2009, wind had the "lowest relative greenhouse gas emissions, the least water consumption demands and... the most favourable social impacts" compared to photovoltaic, hydro, geothermal, coal and gas.[1]
